Every Day a New Beginning

It has been a long time since I tried something new. I feel safe in my habits and customs. Earl grey tea every morning, vacation on Cape Cod on the beach every summer, frequenting my favorite restaurants- these are things that provide me with a sense of happiness and security.

However, I find that I often get too comfortable with the "known" and my mind starts to wander, contemplating how to inject some excitement, novelty and challenge into the monotony that can sometimes accompany this life of mine. I have been taking baby steps---vacation this year is not on Cape Cod and a blog...another attempt to step outside the box.

Hoping to use this blog as a means to chronicle a year of new experiences and ideas. Every day a new beginning.
